Ute Kleemann, loving wife and mother of two, has traveled the World throughout the previous 20 years with her husband.
Ute splits her time between the Middle East, Germany and the beautiful St. Simons Island in Georgia. Much of her art focuses on colorful impressions and modern interpretation of idyllic landscapes.
Ute settled permanently on the beautiful St. Simons Island in 2015. The southern charm and the loving Georgian community re-ignited Ute's passion for art. Ute's paintings incorporate both colour and texture.
The ever-changing World of mixed-media is the key to Ute's work. She mostly works on canvas that combines acrylic paint, watercolour, ink, sand, cement and collage layers! Ute is fascinated by bright colours and their interactions with textural scenes and concepts.
She is a member of Glynn Visual Arts / Saint Simons Island, Golden Isles Art & Humanities Association in Brunswick, and Jekyll Island Arts Association.
