Art and Design.
Ute Kleemann-Sportschuetz, a German born native, is an abstract, mixed media artist and collagist, who has started painting when she was a young girl.
Art became an important part in her life to nourish, heal and connect with her intuition.
She wants to deliver not only a final painting but the experience she goes through when she gets into the process of creating.
Wherever she lived and called home, she attended art classes and workshops. Much of her art focuses on colorful impressions and modern interpretation of idyllic landscapes. The ever-changing World of Mixed Media is the key to Ute's work now. She mostly works on canvas that combines acrylic paint, oil pastel, watercolor, ink, sand, cement and collage layers.
Ute’s Art fascinates with bright colors and their interactions with textural scenes and concepts.
Ute settled permanently in beautiful St. Simons Island in 2015.
She is a member of:
Art Trends Gallery / Saint Simons Island,
Glynn Visual Arts / Saint Simons Island,
Golden Isles Art & Humanities Association in Brunswick,
and Jekyll Island Arts Association
